Illinois requires government-issued photo identification when a purchaser appears younger than 30.
Machines may be placed where people under 21 are never permitted, or at qualifying alcohol premises under direct owner or manager supervision.
Tobacco, vape, and alternative nicotine products may not be stocked with ordinary non-tobacco merchandise, except as allowed by law.
The operator must maintain applicable Illinois retail licensing and registration, including the required machine-specific tax decal.
